India's performance against the Three Lions: A bleat.

A bleat is a blog post housing a bunch of tweets. Blog, tweet, bleat.

Also, a bleat is how the Indian cricket team responded to the roar of the three lions. And promptly, they were devoured whole.

Abject surrender. The biggest ever margin of defeat after taking a first innings lead. Although we may be inclined to point fingers at India's lack of preparation, IPL, let's face it- England has a great Test team. Super bowlers, super batsmen, super fielders, super bench (Bresnan: case in point). Anyhow, let me get on with the bleating:

- The cook, Kevin, rang the bell, trotted past the doormat, prior to setting the straws on the broad dining table.

Bell has the ability to dig in! Get him. We don't want a Trench Brit at Trent Bridge

(I am pleased and displeased to say that this, written when Bell was on 20, proved very prescient)

It certainly was not an "enforcer" performance. Sachin, Dhoni, Yuvraj threw it away. Bhajji was not out

That ball was travelling at the speed of knots

Totally agreed with Nass when he said, fine, no ball tracking, but atleast look for inside edge and ball pitch point for lbws.

From Broad 666666 to Broad 64646.

(Referring to Stuart Broad's 64 while batting and 6 for 46 while bowling)

This is cheating (that's not cricket! Er..but it is!); but here's an FB post from Day 2 on something I feel strongly about:

if Dhoni is so disinterested in playing test cricket, and his technique is so completely exposed in WI, England and in the upcoming Oz tour, Dinesh Karthik is a solid test batsman. And Gambhir can captain.

THE END.

P.S.  And yes, the long hunt for a new web residence for the blog is over. Ashwin FTW! As Roy said, from Ashwinwins to AshwinFTW: I have moved from the tweens to the teens!

So weird being complimentary about your quirky obsessions. 'Bleat' was awesome, couple of tweets great, and a priceless introduction into Twitter pop culture and blog reading etiquette!
