Thought Provokers

The plan is to keep updating this post as I come across 'em.

"Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper or your self-confidence." Robert Frost.

"Any idiot can face a crisis - it's day to day living that wears you out." Anton Chekhov.

"An artist is someone who can hold two opposing viewpoints and still remain fully functional." Scott Fitzgerald.

"Baseball is ninety percent mental, and the other half is physical." Yogi Berra.

"A compass, I learned when I was surveying, it'll... it'll point you True North from where you're standing, but it's got no advice about the swamps and deserts and chasms that you'll encounter along the way. If in pursuit of your destination, you plunge ahead, heedless of obstacles, and achieve nothing more than to sink in a swamp... What's the use of knowing True North?" by Abraham Lincoln from the movie Lincoln, spoken in that endearing drawl in the movie.

"All you need in life is food, shelter and a story" - paraphrased, by some famous author I can't recall.
